  • The Washington State Department of Commerce has launched the Small Business Resiliency Assistance program to help culturally and historically disadvantaged small businesses affected by the COVID19 pandemic.

PIERCE COUNTY

  • A new report suggests that social distancing, school and business closures, and the stay-at-home order have drastically reduced COVID-19 transmission in Pierce, King, and Snohomish Counties.
    • Research scientists and Public Health officials from all three counties stress that measures must not be relaxed right now, and that return to normal levels of interaction and business must happen gradually to prevent a rebound of widespread coronavirus transmission and deaths.
