rel=\"nofollow\">The following health systems and clinics in our region<\/a> are offering vaccine appointments for eligible individuals:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level3\">\n<div class=\"li\">MultiCare hospitals, including Tacoma General;<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level3\">\n<div class=\"li\">Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, including St. Joseph&#8217;s, St. Claire&#8217;s in Lakewood, St. Francis in Federal Way, and St. Anthony&#8217;s in Gig Harbor;<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level3\">\n<div class=\"li\">Kaiser Permanente facilities<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level3\">\n<div class=\"li\">Sea Mar clinics<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level3\">\n<div class=\"li\">Orting Family Practice, OM Life Health Clinic, University Place Medical Clinic, and International Health Community Services<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level3\">\n<div class=\"li\">Fred Hutchinson, Evergreen Health, and Seattle Children&#8217;s Hospital<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">Many pharmacies also have vaccine programs by appointment, including select Safeway-Albertsons and QFC pharmacies throughout the region; Kirk&#8217;s Pharmacy in Eatonville; and Lincoln Pharmacy and Acts Pharmacy, both in Tacoma.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1 node\">\n<div class=\"li\">King County has 2 vaccination sites: <a class=\"urlextern\" title=\"https:\/\/kingcounty.gov\/elected\/executive\/constantine\/news\/release\/2021\/January\/29-vaccination-sites.aspx\" href=\"https:\/\/kingcounty.gov\/elected\/executive\/constantine\/news\/release\/2021\/January\/29-vaccination-sites.aspx\" rel=\"nofollow\">the ShoWare Center in Kent and at the General Services Administration (GSA) Complex in Auburn<\/a>.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level2\">\n<div class=\"li\">Register for an appointment online at <a class=\"urlextern\" title=\"https:\/\/kingcounty.gov\/vaccine\" href=\"https:\/\/kingcounty.gov\/vaccine\" rel=\"nofollow\">kingcounty.gov\/vaccine<\/a> or call 206-263-9600<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1 node\">\n<div class=\"li\">The Tacoma Pierce County Health Dept urges residents to follow the department&#8217;s social media posts and keep an eye on their website for more opportunities for pop-up vaccination events.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level2\">\n<div class=\"li\">Individuals can also sign up for email notifications in advance of future COVID-19 community vaccine events by going to tpchd.org\/notify.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level2\">\n<div class=\"li\">The department is launching a pilot program to increase vaccine opportunities among groups disproportionately affected by severe COVID illness and barriers to vaccine access despite eligibility.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level2\">\n<div class=\"li\">There will be small, community-run vaccine events where community partner groups register people who have limited transportation options, language barriers, tech barriers, or other access challenges.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level2 node\">\n<div class=\"li\">Those experiencing barriers in our county include:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level3\">\n<div class=\"li\">Individuals from Black, African American, Latinx or Hispanic, Native Hawaiian, Alaska Native, Pacific Islander, and American Indian communities<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level3\">\n<div class=\"li\">People with housing instability and disabilities<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level3\">\n<div class=\"li\">Low-income households<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level3\">\n<div class=\"li\">Immigrants and refugees<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level3\">\n<div class=\"li\">People with limited English proficiency<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level3\">\n<div class=\"li\">People in rural areas<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level2\">\n<div class=\"li\">The department is imploring that community partners promote these small vaccine events using low-tech options and avoid posting to social media, because individuals needing extra time to register due to their individual challenges are likely to miss out.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level2\">\n<div class=\"li\">If you are a radio listener wanting to be facilities; at Community Healthcare and SeaMar Community Health Centers; at Cheney Stadium, at the Lakewood State Emissions Testing Center, and more.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level2\">\n<div class=\"li\">You can go to coronavirus.wa.gov and follow links for \u201cFind Covid Testing Near Me\u201d for specific locations.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level2 node\">\n<div class=\"li\">In
