Backcountry users of the park must maintain social distancing practices.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h1 id=\"tacoma\">TACOMA<\/h1>\n<div class=\"level1\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"environmental_services\">ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES<\/h2>\n<div class=\"level2\">\n<p>Link: <a class=\"urlextern\" title=\"https:\/\/www.cityoftacoma.org\/in_the_news\/tacoma_recovery_and_transfer_center_limited_access?fbclid=IwAR2yvpPqV4MQel_EREVnNgBLoWPR2-kOfc0yhVlki_NfdvUwWNSmBsLQmxc\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cityoftacoma.org\/in_the_news\/tacoma_recovery_and_transfer_center_limited_access?fbclid=IwAR2yvpPqV4MQel_EREVnNgBLoWPR2-kOfc0yhVlki_NfdvUwWNSmBsLQmxc\" rel=\"nofollow\">City of Tacoma<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">In accordance with Governor Inslee&#8217;s emergency \u201cStay Home, Stay Healthy\u201d order and to help minimize the spread of COVID-19, the City of Tacoma\u2019s Solid Waste Management is limiting access to the Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center, also known as the dump, starting today, Wednesday, March 25, until further notice.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">no self-haul residential garbage, yard waste, or Call-2-Haul loads will be accepted.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">The Recycle Center, EnviroHouse, and Solid Waste front office lobby will be closed until further notice.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">the Household Hazardous Waste Facility will remain open to residential customers<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">Essential commercial solid waste loads in excess of 1,000 lbs will still be accepted at the center from 8 AM to 6 PM, seven days a week.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">collection schedule changes for both residential and commercial customers may occur anbd will be posted online at cityoftacoma.org\/solidwaste<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">Solid waste customers can call 253-502-2100 to hear service changes, and to request additional pick-ups or call-2-haul services<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"education\">EDUCATION<\/h2>\n<div class=\"level2\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">University of Puget Sound has <a class=\"urlextern\" title=\"https:\/\/www.thenewstribune.com\/news\/coronavirus\/article241449271.html\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thenewstribune.com\/news\/coronavirus\/article241449271.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">canceled<\/a> its May 17th graduation ceremony<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">Anyone 18 and younger may continue to pick up school breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday at Tacoma Middle School sites and bus stops. Times and maps can be found online at bit.ly\/MealsOnBusWheels.
