If exposed and you develop symptoms, testing that day or the next is recommended. If exposed and you don\u2019t develop symptoms, waiting 5-6 days after exposure to get a test is recommended. People must stay in quarantine for the entire 14 days even if a test is negative.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1 node\">\n<div class=\"li\">The governor is allowing school districts to use buses and bus drivers to deliver educational materials, meals, and technology to enable remote learning, in addition to the normal job of student transportation.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li href=\"https:\/\/www.governor.wa.gov\/news-media\/inslee-issues-two-public-education-related-proclamations\" rel=\"nofollow\">governor.wa.gov<\/a> in the \u201cNews &amp; Media\u201d section.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1 node\">\n<div class=\"li\">Emergency orders from the <a class=\"urlextern\" title=\"https:\/\/www.insurance.wa.gov\/news\/kreidler-extends-two-emergency-orders-coronavirus?utm_content=&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_name=&amp;utm_source=govdelivery&amp;utm_term=\" href=\"https:\/\/www.insurance.wa.gov\/news\/kreidler-extends-two-emergency-orders-coronavirus?utm_content=&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_name=&amp;utm_source=govdelivery&amp;utm_term=\" rel=\"nofollow\">state Insurance Commissioner<\/a> have been extended for another month:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level2\">\n<div class=\"li\">Health insurers must waive copays and deductibles for COVID-19 testing, must allow a one-time early refill for prescription drugs, and may not require any prior authorization for coronavirus treatment or testing.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1 node\">\n<div class=\"li\">The Washington State Department of Health will <a class=\"urlextern\" title=\"https:\/\/coronavirus.wa.gov\/news\/department-health-halt-reporting-death-counts-over-weekend\" href=\"https:\/\/coronavirus.wa.gov\/news\/department-health-halt-reporting-death-counts-over-weekend\" rel=\"nofollow\">no longer publish counts of COVID-19 deaths<\/a> on Saturdays and Sundays.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level2\">\n<div class=\"li\">The department will now add the counts generated from the weekend to the following Monday and Tuesday reports, as part of the regular reporting process for those days.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level2\">\n<div class=\"li\">Regular publishing of COVID-19 death counts will continue Monday through Friday.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1 node\">\n<div class=\"li\">The <a class=\"urlextern\" title=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/WashingtonESD\/photos\/a.198714200253072\/2191846950939777\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/WashingtonESD\/photos\/a.198714200253072\/2191846950939777\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Washington Employment Security Department<\/a> announced that while a the state has been approved for the federal Lost Wages Assistance program, which will give an extra $300 per week for a limited time to eligible unemployed individuals, they do not currently have a timeline for distribution and urge interested individuals not to call the claims center with questions about the program.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level2\">\n<div class=\"li\">The department expects to post information to its website when it becomes available.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h1 id=\"pierce_county\">PIERCE COUNTY<\/h1>\n<div class=\"level1\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level1 node\">\n<div class=\"li\">The Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department has added a <a class=\"urlextern\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tpchd.org\/healthy-people\/diseases\/covid-19-information-for-schools\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tpchd.org\/healthy-people\/diseases\/covid-19-information-for-schools\" rel=\"nofollow\">dashboard to its schools information webpage<\/a> to show the county&#8217;s progress on key metrics for safely reopening schools for in-person learning.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"level2\">\n<div class=\"li\">Go to tpcd.org, click on \u201cHealthy People,\u201d and look for the school bus icon for more info.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">The Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department also encourages individuals to tag the department if they post photos of signs in the community that promote health, safety, and hope.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"level1\">\n<div class=\"li\">Not quite COVID-related, but <a class=\"urlextern\"
